GUTTER CLEARANCE

The frequency with which a home requires a gutter clearance, will vary greatly depending upon its location. Gutters in the presence of nearby deciduous trees, under a moss covered roof, or attractive to nesting birds - will always require more maintenance than a gutter which is in a less impactful position. 

 

Although there really is no set frequency that can apply to all homes, what we can be certain of, is that if left unattended for long enough, all gutters will inevitably become blocked at some point in time. Blocked gutters will eventually result in more serious consequences to your property (and potentially health), increasing the likelihood of expensive structural repairs being required. As a general rule, having your gutters cleared once or twice a year, will be sufficient.​
